We arrived at Chatman Bay and I jumped off the boat to check the anchor. I had thrown my mask into the water then realized it didn't float so over I went after it. Pete and I were determined to catch some lobsters for dinner so we set off to the reef with gloves and a cheap bag to try to catch one. It was a bit intimidating sticking your hand into a hole in the rocks under water where a very spiky creature was lurking. We tried but came back empty handed. Great snorkeling though. We saw our first sea snake of the trip.

| As soon as we showed up, one of the small restaurant owners came over and tried to book us for dinner at his place. The Shark Attack guy from the guide book then came over and there was quite the pissing match between the two as the yelled at each other from their small boats. The other guy started circling around us like a shark which I thought was kind of funny but they eventually came to an agreement to each give each other a chance to talk us into eating at their place. We ended going with Shark Attack because that's what we had decided ahead of time and Rob from Barefoot recommended him. His lobster and fish dinners were simple but very good. You can see Shark attack holding up the Lobster I ate! The cooks were eating some kind of a grilled rat or something. I liked my lobster better! | |||
Before dinner dad and I hiked up the dirt road to the top of the hill. There were many mosquitoes but we just barely caught a nice sunset at the top. There was a really sweet homestead up there with gardens and goats. This young billy goat came over to check us out as we bahed at it. I think he was deformed as his hind legs didn't look rite and he looked blind in one eye. Cute though. We cruised back down to the beach in time for dinner before all the light was through.
Next we took a long motor back to Bequia for our last few days in the islands.
