Yes he is a dog. But he is a truly great dog. Oliver is my mutt pup who was born sometime in July of 2002. He is black, soft, friendly, and a great companion.

Eight reason why you should let Oliver and I rent your apartment

1. He doesn't bark. He can bark but it is discouraged and he almost never does it.
2. He is completely house trained. He has not had an "accident" in the house since he was a puppy.
3. He does not chew on anything except toys and old water bottles he thinks are toys.
4. He does not jump up on or scratch doors, windowsills, or countertops.
5. He does not get on furniture.
6. He is clean. I dated a dog groomer for several years and am a strong advocate for routine dog baths.
7. He is social and such does well with other dogs, cats, people, and children. He has been attacked by other dogs, cats, and children but has never bitten back or shown any aggression.
8. I am a responsible dog owner. I pick up poo, exercise my dog daily, and train him to be well behaved.

I wanted to demonstrate what type of a dog Oliver is, so I made this short movie. You can see here that he does not bark even when barked at and that our house does not show any signs of dog destruction. Oliver is quite adaptable having lived in 5 different homes over his life, gone on 4 road trips coast to coast across the US, and even sleeps over at friends houses on a semi-regular basis. He has lived in a very nice home with carpets and antiques with no events for the last year. (It takes a few minutes to load)

Oliver has been well socialized and is an "on the go" dog. He loves hikes, mtn bike rides, going out climbing, tubing, canoeing, going over to friends houses, and anything else new. Here are a selection of pictures from the past 2 years.
