Climb Fremont Bridge: Philadelphia
Climbing in the major metropolitan area of Philadelphia, PA is often slim pickings. Peter published a short manifesto of urban buildering to help with this problem. Another fantastic option is the underside of the Fremont bridge. Here you find some amazingly crimpy 5.9 to 5.12 climbs with most in the 5.10-11 range.
Peter, Jackie, and I went for a round of great hard climbing. Peter led the sport climbs and jackie and I thrashed up after him. It was great for me to get out and climb with so many months of nursing school keeping me busy and away from the rock.
